Hello from Forests Today & Forever!
We are already thinking ahead to spring Forest Field Days, which begins in April! With almost 800 middle school students participating, we are in need of volunteer support. We hope that you will join us!
The field day is an important part of the overall Forest Field Days curriculum, which nurtures an appreciation for our forests and educates students (and teachers and chaperones) about how our forests are sustainably managed for ecological, social, and environmental benefits. Our program also gives students an outdoor learning experience to remember - it's not every day that their classroom is a forest!
It takes nearly 100 volunteers per Forest Field Day season. Please consider volunteering with us this spring! With 800 students scheduled to visit us, we are counting on our amazing volunteers!
Here are the initial dates for this spring's events
April 19, 20, 24, 26
May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 19, 24, 25
Events take place at Bauman Tree Farm, located just outside of Eugene, OR near Crow.
