Douglas County School Forestry Tour

Glide Educational Forest, is located behind the Glide Transfer Station. Volunteers needed! Over the course of 3 days, over 500 5th graders will learn about forestry topics from local professionals. We need volunteers to help prepare the site for the event, provide small-diameter logs for the crosscut saw activity, and assist with day-of-event operations. Interested? Want to learn more?
