2025 Lane County Small Woodlands Association Picnic & Annual Members Meeting
Saturday, May 17 | 10:00am-2:00pm, with optional walking tour from 2:00-3:00
$15 per person
This year’s Annual Meeting program will include a meet-and-greet with our new state OSWA Executive Director, children’s activities, door prizes, a picnic lunch, updates on state and chapter activities over the past year and our annual board election. At the heart of our time together will be an opportunity to learn from the Cafferata clan as they share management planning and activities on their Penn Road Family Forest: from culverts to thinning, root rot to bark beetles, fire protection to recreation—plus the conversion of their powerline easements to bird habitat. At the end of the meeting there will be the opportunity to explore a bit of the property, with two options for a guided walk: one that will be easy…
