About the event
Grab your walking stick and join us for a morning hike among big trees at Linda and Dell Jensen's tree farm in the hills outside Marcola. Enjoy some uphill walking, mostly under canopy, on well-maintained forest roads. Discuss perspectives on thinning and selective logging, poles, planting experiments, family legacy and more. Afterwards, stay for lunch as members of the Board fire up the grill and cook for you. Bring the whole family!
No cost to attend, but registration by September 5 is required--and donations will be gladly accepted.
